The Moving Checklist:

• File papers for schools
• Find doctors, dentists, etc., in your new area (transfer records if necessary)
• Make arrangements with utility providers (phone, electric, gas, water, garbage, satellite)
• Send new address to insurance companies
• Make address change arrangements with banks (order new checks)
• Collect rental deposit and cancel old rental insurance
• Call post office and provide a forwarding address
