Background:
Originally from Detroit, Keith Couser moved to Chicago in 1995 to pursue the American Dream. He made his mark early in life, receiving a smiley face and a check plus on his very first school paper. In high school he was voted class clown and most likely to succeed, a difficult combination to achieve. At Western Michigan University, Couser received degrees in Economics and Public Policy while leading his co-ed team to several water polo championships. His former jobs have included potato peeler, paperboy, produce clerk, bartender, speechwriter, options trader, gallery owner, and property manager, among others. Keith Couser is no stranger to the dance floor, often mesmerizing the club with Rick Astley style moves until the sun comes up. A frequent visitor and part-time resident of New Orleans, Couser also fancies brass bands, seersucker suits, and sazeracs.
